Dear readers,

The release of Issue 5 marks the end of winter quarter for Criterion. As we step into the final stretch of the year, we embrace new chapters and the transformative changes they bring.

In this edition, Criterion presents a collection of articles centered around social activism and community engagement. By addressing pressing issues such as sexual violence and wildlife conservation efforts, we strive to further meaningful discussions within our campus community. We are also reminded of the importance of wellness with the arrival of spring, as highlighted in articles about health practices and sustainable travel. Through these articles, we would like to show the myriad of ways in which we can work towards creating a better world.
